Tax Specialist - Multistate



Applies knowledge of state and local tax to ensure complete, accurate, and timely filing of all sales/use and property tax returns.



Assist in the maintenance of sales tax software for both store and e-commerce sales


Review purchase invoices to ensure proper use tax accrual


Assist in the preparation of monthly sales and use tax returns


Process sales and use tax payments via check or wire transfer


Assist in the data collection for state and local sales and use tax audits


Assist in the preparation of personal property tax returns for office and store locations


Process payments for property tax invoices


Review notices of valuation for all locations


Maintain filing calendar for all personal property tax filings to ensure that all filing deadlines are met


Assist in the data collection for personal property tax audits



Business degree from an accredited college or university preferred.  Candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years of  tax experience, preferably with an accounting firm or multistate corporation.
