Hibbett Sports is looking for an Inventory Management Intern for the Summer of 2018. This full-time position will be located at our Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL.
The Inventory Management Intern 2018 will review, research and recommend best practice of the New Store Opening process as it relates to Inventory Management practices. The following areas will be considered:
The intern will work closely with the Inventory Management Training Coordinator to document the current process and recommend changes to drive efficiencies to the current processes in place. A formal presentation will be given to management with key takeaways noted. The intern will learn about the Hibbett business model by visiting local stores as well as our Logistics Facility which plays a big role in the new store opening process.
The successful candidate will be a rising Junior or Senior with a least a 3.0 GPA. Knowledge of Word and Excel required.
