As the Regional Asset Protection Manager you will be in a key position and will be responsible for the administration and implementation through a decentralized supportive relationship with stores, which he/she has been issued a region. This will be accomplished through a unified approach with Corporate Operations, District Managers, Human Resources and Store Management as it relates to the supervision and training of all Team Members within all stores.


We are looking for a Asset Protection Manager that not only excels in protecting the company’s assets and financial information , but also relishes in the challenges and opportunities a position in today’s complex retail environment offers.


The region covers South Texas.



  • Coordinate and conduct physical inventories assigned within region
  • Ensure inventory shrink is held to -.36% to sales or below within region.
  • Conducts all investigations in coordination with Human Resources involving Ethics and Compliance/First Response Hotlines. Including but not limited to sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation etc.
  • Effectively perform interviews within region including but not limited to; employee theft, general loss, human resource interviews, etc.
  • Coordinate major investigations, both internal and external, within region and assist any corporate investigations as needed. 
  • Conduct covert camera installations within region.
  • Ensure Register Over/Shorts are held to -.01% within region.
  • Participate in shrinkage control audits of stores within region and discuss findings with the Vice President of Human Resources/Asset Protection, Regional Vice President of Asset Protection, Operations, District Managers, and Head Coaches.
  • Ensure the completion of at least one Shrinkage Control Rating per store during the fiscal year. Store Visit Audits should be completed on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance of Shrink Blitz Program within region. The Regional Asset Protection Manager will conduct a Shrinkage Control Rating and Shrink Blitz Ratings at all Shrink Blitz Stores within region between physical inventories.
  • Monitor company policies and procedures and make written recommendations as needed.
  • Maintain effective civil recovery and restitution program in all stores within region. 
  • Maintain effective liaison with local authorities to ensure that all cases prosecuted are coordinated. 
  • Maintain effective communication with the Vice President of Human Resources regarding drug screenings, disciplinary action and terminations.
  • Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures, and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.


Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
