This experienced human resources and recruiting professional will evolve the organization’s talent acquisition process to a new level. Emphasizing innovation, the Director of Talent Acquisition will assess current resources, evaluate employment branding needs, and build a strategic process that creates a competitive advantage through talent. This role will also be a key partner for assessing and assisting in understanding corporate professional development and talent needs, coaching and team development, succession planning, career-pathing, and retention strategies. The Director of Talent Acquisition will report to the Vice President of Human Resources.


  • Create a strategic talent acquisition process that ultimately leads to an optimal retail customer experience 
  • Conducts critical analyses using business-intelligence tools to ensure analytics are assessed for efficiency and effectiveness that lead to profitability.
  • Lead in the development and execution of talent acquisition programs such as employment branding, etc.
  • Build strategic relationships with other senior leaders of the organization to deliver upon strategic workforce planning needs.
  • Partner with HR leadership in designing and developing critical talent-cycle components such as succession planning, professional development, high-potential programs, talent assessments, performance management, and career-pathing strategies.
  • Manages relationships with academic institutions, leadership development organizations, and other professional organizations focused on talent acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Manage company relationships with recruitment and search firms to create key partners who understand and can communicate/market the organization as an employer of choice.


  • An established talent acquisition leader with innovative experience developing wide-ranging talent acquisition programs
  • A proven track-record of creating a great place to work culture
  • Proven success in team development through positive influence and operational effectiveness
  • A cross-functional leader with proven-ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience leading a recruiting team that is the central point of contact for talent acquisition
  • A proven track-record of exceptional customer service with a focus for taking action and executing as an overall great team player
  • A proven tactical problem-solver concerning applicant-tracking systems integrations issues with experience strategizing to prevent future occurrences.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of leadership in the field of recruiting
  • HRIS experience using iCims and/or Infor (Lawson) considered a plus
