Overview

The Web Project Manager is responsible for prioritizing requests, understanding business requirements, and running web/digital projects from kickoff through delivery. We are looking for someone who can take each project - large or small - and manage the process and people from start to finish.

 

This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and resourcefulness. As part of this position you'll be expected to bring recommendations for how to grow the capabilities of the group, optimize workflow, and review/recommend new software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the monthly sprints for the website and apps (iPhone and Android)
  • Manage current website and app technology vendor sprint resources
  • Research, acquire and onboard new technology vendors that are needed for the website and apps.
  • Establish the scope and timing of web projects based on strategic business priorities
  • Spec business requirements for the backend capabilities, content workflow and processes and then drive the implementation
  • Manage timelines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations. Primary stakeholders are the Digital Team and may also include Merchandising & Store Operations.
  • Managing workflow for Web Developers, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Anticipate and escalate issues as necessary; manage riskPrepare for and facilitate meetings for current projects, and backlog of projects
  • Set and communicate realistic deadlines to team members, and ensure all projects are on track, on time and resulting in the agreed upon final product
  • Will represent the business during UAT/ website testing

Qualifications

  • Experience managing web sprints & projects
  • Highly effective communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work across multiple disciplines and teams to achieve great results
  • Passionate about providing best in class user experiences
  • Ability to get things done, no matter the obstacle
  • A strong sense of teamwork with the ability to take a leadership role and act proactively to keep initiatives moving and to foster continuous improvement in processes
  • Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • An understanding of digital marketing, brand messaging, information architecture, customer experience best practices and design principles is also beneficial
  • Ability to multi-task with design change requests and ongoing project
  • Analytical and data-driven

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 4 or more years of experience project managing 4 or more years of experience working with web/digital technologies
