Overview

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Reviews and evaluates drawings making the necessary corrections, consistent with standards established by Hibbett Sports.

 

Participates in pre-construction planning conferences.

 

Establishes work plan for each phase of project.

 

Ensures required inspections with public agencies are completed.

 

Coordinates activities of the project to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

 

Reviews status reports prepared by the Director of Construction and modifies schedules or plans as required.

 

Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.

 

Confers with CAD department to provide advice and to resolve problems.

 

Confers with Property Management to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

 

Visits construction projects to assure that plans, specifications, codes and regulations are being observed and followed.

 

Ability to research, analyze and assist in the development of budgets.

 

Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.

 

Ability to develop and modify work procedures, methods and processes to improve efficiency.

 

Ability to effectively express ideas orally and in writing.

 

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by work assignments.

 

Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures, and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or one to two years experience in retail management; or equivalent combination of education and retail management experience preferred.
