  • Overview


    Looking for candidates with Lease Accouting experience and/or Paralegal background. 


    Responsible for the processing of leases for new and existing store locations by performing the

    following duties.



    Read leases and abstract all pertinent information in the Lease Administration System, which

    requires application of professional judgment and effective time management.  Communicate with

    the Legal Department as needed on status of lease documents and timing of document availability.



    Update information on construction allowance for each store and update landlord notice files.



    Initiate monthly rent and expenses of leased property.





    Monitor and report monthly sales reports to landlords.





    Report certified sales reports at the store’s lease's year-end for all stores, and initiate percentage rent

    payment if applicable.





    Check for accuracy all year-end tax, insurance, common area maintenance and utility adjustment

    billings from landlords as well as monthly statements showing any balance past due.



    Communicate with the Landlord's accounting and bookkeeping departments as well as the Mall or Property Manager of the lease property on any issue regarding rental payments.


    Work with Landlord auditors regarding % rent and sales reporting.


    Notify the real estate department of lease renewal dates or kick out dates for stores.  Receive all

    notices from the landlords and react accordingly.


    Assist in maintaining the integrity of the data in the Lease Administration System.








    Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
